I'm trying to figure out what I'd do. I figure if I was in the truck and he jumped on the back, I'd check traffic and gun it to dump him. If there's a witness (cop or camera), I'd be happy to present my case.

If he kicks my car, I get out drawn. That's attempted B&E in TX and other reasonable states, and a stand your ground situation. Someone is trying to enter your domain ("castle") by force; you are authorized to use lethal force to stop them. That's why I always took the high capacity/extra mags piece to the city in the BLM days - no telling when you might be stopped and traffic and a bunch of feral niggers try to pull you from your vehicle just for using the public road.
