Ever since Russia invaded Ukraine in February of 2022 the United States and its Western allies have imposed what were supposed to be crippling sanctions on the Putin-led nation. Except that isn’t really what happened, and now even U.S. allies like Japan are finding ways around the sanctions to purchase much-needed Russian oil.

But that's the thing...Russia didn't invade Japan and pragmatism took over?

I posted a story about how Japan is giving the middle finger to the US and doing business with Russia despite the US sanctions. I posted this story in an OP that suggests that Russia is about to invade Japan, or, at least, that Putin wants to invade Japan.
