A good argument against open borders and liberal immigration policies: when people are easily replaceable, then they lose worth. When the work force is reliant upon its members remaining healthy and work-ready because replacements are nigh unavailable, then society places a greater emphasis on ensuring they stay that way; healthcare becomes a necessity, not a luxury, and the political pressure to ensure that drives policy to that end.
Also, getting money out of politics. We've seen what one man, George Soros, has been able to accomplish politically in this country simply by virtue of his incredible wealth. And there are thousands more like him, all able to wield power by proxy through their various shell companies and NGO's. Forcing them to play by the same campaign finance rules as the lower classes means those Americans now have worth that makes maintaining their well-being of significance again.
tl;dr: when society values its people, it looks after them. Making working Americans have that worth will force the changes that reflect that, especially in healthcare.
