Can I kill the "beep, beep" on this device without being connected to the App (subscription) that controls it.

1. I don't want to take out a subscription for the device because I don't want all the fancy features (e.g. remote viewing).

2. The device provides basic home security without a subscription i.e. point in one direction and record to SD Card.

3. The only problem is the device beeps loudly every 10 seconds or so and if I could kill that noise I could use the device. My wife said if she heard the "beep, beep" once more she'd flush the device down the toilet.

Even if I could get into the App again (my account has been terminated after a trial free run), I'm still not sure if there is a setting that allowed me to turn off the beep.

What I'm going to try is to download the App again using a different WiFi and different name/email and try to get back in but, as I said, even if I do...will I be able to kill the beep?

I've read online that you can turn off the audio in the settings of devices that looked just like this one.

Contact the company here and ask them directly: https://emporiumhut.net/pages/contact-us

Probably but the problem is I can't access the settings because I've been thrown out of the App Account because I didn't buy a subscription after my trial free period. I didn't think I needed to if I operated the thing on a SD card, which I can do albeit with very limited functions but...the thing beeps!

Do these camersa do RTSP video streaming. If so you can stream using VLC player, If not dont buy it.
I use Blue Iris vidio software i got for $40 and it will support a lot of cameras. Two of these https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09Y3ZWH82/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 a cheep door bell camera cover my front side and back.
It all records to SD cards and my local PC.

dunno. Bought it and ... a big mistake. Yes door-bell camera would have been better.

Kill yourself and it’ll never bother you again

Screwdriver.

After seeing a couple of videos it looks like there's some screw holes and a back plate, start with those and see where it leads you. No need to desolder it either, just find the two wires going to the speaker and cut them.

The solution was staring at me in the face. I covered what appeared to be audio-holes with black tape x 2 and the sound has been reduced by about 70% which is quite adequate. I'm stoked as I can now use the thing without anyone complaining.Thank you for your interest.

I see two screws at the end of two very long holes. Might see if I can get a computer-type expert to do something.
