We already have websites that create completely fake user bots that are designed to accompany anyone who is "ghost banned" in order to give them the illusion that people on those websites are seeing what they post. This is an upgrade to shadow banning because anyone with half a brain can realize when they have been shadow banned. Ghost banning is much more sinister in that you don't know that you have been tucked away into an echo chamber corner with bots designed to placate and keep you there.
