It's along the lines of Schindler's List but about Cambodia and the Kmer Rouge. I enjoy these type of movies for, reasons....

It was good though if you're not easily taken in by blatant propaganda.

In the movie the bad guys take whatever they want when they say "Angkor needs this" meaning they're taking it for the cause. It's pretty blatant.

Angelina Jolie is based. ??? She also directed "Unbroken" and the japs were pretty cruel. I looked up her movies. Time to watch "In the Land of Blood and Honey". Weird that "First They Killed my Father" seems to be her last movie. Maybe They didn't like it.
