I appreciate your fervor. I run Arch but still have production machines that need Windows to operate. Plus many other reasons. Check it out if you have a use case.

They made a mistake with the internet, but it also allows them to attempt to make every machine a centrally controlled spy/ad/conssssoooom device as well. Making them all chromebooks is an attempt to push that, as is anything "cloud" based.

They want their power back.

I just tried this out on a Windows 11 install in a Virtual Machine and while I don't have any reason to trust it, what it does is freaking awesome.

What do you do when you actually need a windows update? Like because some software refuses to run without it?

That's actually the point of this tool I believe partly. You run the reversal script on the same tool. Update and then run the AME script again.
