Imagine being the sort of person that thinks dumping 50 million shitskins and niggers on Japan is the thing to do.

They both get it. Japan is a wonderful place to visit, so long as you aren't an asshole. But they will never consider you as "one of us". They are perfectly happy if you want to share in their culture and learn their history and ways, but again, you will never be considered Japanese.

As a place to visit it's great. Great food, nice people, lots of interesting stuff to explore. Their cities are clean and relatively peaceful, if you want to visit a decent city. They've held on to their history, and even if feminism is slowly working it's evil magic there, it's not nearly as bad as other places.

Still, they have their problems and I wouldn't want to live there as a White dude.

Years ago, when I was a completely different person I dated this idiot woman that saw herself as this loud and brash Carmen Miranda type senorita. She ended up winning a seat on a business tour of Japan and I told her she would fall in love with it and think it's the best place on Earth but not to get too attached because she would never belong there. When people are nice to her it's because they know she's going to leave and won't return.

She thought I was mean and cynical and it was just like I told her. She hated leaving and for months all she could talk about was all her friends in Japan. She was screaming, talking over everyone, wearing loud colors and ridiculous outfits so all the Japanese thought she was a spectacle. She eventually considered moving there and every door was shit in her face. When they found out she was seriously considering relocating shit changed. All her friends stopped talking to her and she realized I was right. Japanese will be nice as shit to you because you're a step outside of their stressful, never stand out Japanese society character and you're not one of them. You never will be.

I'm American and lived in Japan for 6 months as a short term work thing. I appreciated the people and the country but understood that was because it was by them for them. I left with great memories and hope to return as a tourist. I value their culture but don't ever want to be a part of it.

Why are you leaving Japan?
It's not home.

You will never be Japanese. You have no language. You have no bloodline. You have no history. You are a weeaboo Caucasian man twisted and sculpted by anime into a crude mockery of nature's perfection. All the validation you get is two-faced and half-hearted. Behind your back people mock you. Your parents are disgusted and ashamed of you. Your friends laugh at your butchered Japanese behind closed doors.
Japs are utterly repulsed by you. Thousands of years of evolution have allowed them to sniff out gaijin with incredible efficiency. The way you speak is a dead giveaway. And even if you manage to get le qt azn waifu home with you, she'll turn tail and run the moment she gets a hint of your disgusting anime fetish.
You will never be happy. You wrench out a few hours of Japanese lessons every day, but deep down you feel the depression creeping up like a weed, ready to crush you under the unbearable weight. Eventually it'll be too much to bear - you'll buy a rope, tie a noose, put it around your neck, and plunge into the cold abyss. Your parents will find you, heartbroken but relieved that they no longer have to deal with the shame and dishonor of having you as their son. They'll bury you with a headstone marked with an English name, and every passersby for the rest of eternity will know a Western man is buried there. This is your fate. This is what you chose. There is no going back.

Japan gets it right.
They'll attract productive people and be very friendly about it.
But, it's set up so that if you aren't Japanese, you'll be done with it and leave.

I was able to make it two years in Japan. It was fun. I made some money off of them. They made some money off of me. Everyone was happy. Then, one day, I decided I wanted a hamburger and fucked off back to America.
