How about dropping the whole climate change hoax, and clean up the Great Lakes instead?

Oh yeah I forgot, nobody actually wants to clean up shit. That takes actual work. So much easier to ideologically masturbate, virtue signal, and grift money instead.

Is this satire? Do they not know of spring time?

reminds me when "scientist" were worried of low water levels in the great lakes. It would take decades for water levels to return to normal. Then one or maybe two years and water eves are at record highs. Off course they had to adapt their narrative, and claimed it's because melting glaciers that are feeding the great lakes. Until you actually look at the water shed, and notice that there are no glaciers connected to the great lakes.

it might have somthing to do with the army core of engineers "ice boom" over niagara falls backing up the water levels of lake erie...

Of course they know. The article is intentionally written in the most hysterical fashion to promote a climate change narrative. "Less ice in winter on Great Lakes" isn't as ominous as "As ice cover dwindles on the Great Lakes, researchers scramble to understand the implications".

understand the implications
Easy...its a shitton of lake effect snow.
