I have a refrigerator in the middle of the jungle

It's just so out of place and bizarre to my minds eye. It looks ridiculous to see a black refrigerator, on a pallet, under a tarp canopy, in the middle of my camp, surrounded by various trees and jungle shrubbery.
Some times I just sit and stare at it when I take a break from working my land.

I like to use the example of a hot shower for when I know I'm back in civilization. Think about what it takes to bring you a hot shower some time, maybe even in the shower.

Kids at a college I used to teach at would invest $thousands in solar panels to keep a beer fridge running during the day. They would show up as the sun went down and start drinking.

A good layer of Diatomaceous Earth around the pallet should keep that from happening.
