Ignorant stereotypes about French military performance is borne mostly of there being few French ethnics in America and our being Anglo based imo.

In the War of the First Coalition a bunch of French peasants drove out multiple invading armies and then went on to conquer most of Europe.

I was in county lockup. It was why I was recently absent. They have various legalese euphemisms for it like 'administrative detention', 'closed custody', etc., but I was placed in their highest security area. No contact with other inmates. A 'day room' smaller than my cell, and I had to strain to see sunlight coming into the next room I had a window to in the day room.

Yes. But the nature of that exactly is not known to me. The reasons for solitary are unknown to me as well. Could be national security related. Could be something less sexy. Could be a combination.

I know why I was arrested. I also was not armed and did not resist arrest.

But the specific charges are possibly less interesting than who I am. Or maybe more accurately: what I am.

And given what I am permanent disappearance is always a threat...

For what it's worth though I don't think they will come for me - which is to say launch an all out assault. I am too dangerous or too valuable depending on the party we are talking about.

But if I do vanish for a long time you'll have a decent idea what happened to me. Or maybe not. As I could also go underground. But I am unlikely to die at any time soon from a conventional health problem.
