No. I won't. I'll die alone and I'll be damned if anyone tries to stop me. Yeah, rant inbound. I just woke up and saw this so here we fucking go.

Back in high school, I would have liked nothing more than to have a girlfriend. But I wasn't that top 20% kind of guy and being me, I was kinda awkward. I tried a few times, but looking back all I can say is I'm glad I was rejected as nicely as I was. It was stupid to even try.

Used to be, I'd think "Damn, I really am going to die alone. No girlfriend, no partner in life, nobody to talk to when shit gets rough..." and I'd get a sinking feeling in my chest. Was a really unpleasant sensation.

Now I don't feel anything. Hell, even in college, sophomore year and after, I really just stopped feeling anything for women in general. Started to realize how women are now. They aren't partners, they aren't someone to open up to, they really don't bring much to the table other than some tail that's supposed to be exclusive after you're married, but uh... Yeah. 58% of marriages end in divorce or something. Lol.

Typically I'd see a decent looking or pretty girl and have the natural thought "Huh, she looks nice,". Now though, ever since around junior year in college, it's either no reaction at all or it's instantly just "slut" or "bitch". The sad thing is I'm probably right most of the time. Trust your gut and all that.

But yeah... Quit looking almost 5 years ago now. And each year that passes I have to accept the reality that there is no going back. I'm nearly 24 and have fuck-all experience in any of that. Besides, I don't have a house, I don't have anything of value, I'll only be a trainee making $30k-$40k MAYBE for the next year or so...

It's too late for any of it. Sure, I could theoretically be 30 and end up with a girl who's 20, 22, whatever, but really, what 20yo girl is going to be a "good one"? And are they really going to look at some 30yo idiot and say "YEAH! FORGET THE COLLEGE GUYS, THIS INEXPERIENCED FUCK IS WHERE IT'S AT!"

Uh-huh... Not happening. Even then, I doubt I'd go for a ten year gap. Seems awkward to even think about being with an 18yo now.

No, it's pretty much done. I'll die alone and that's the prize I win for sticking to what is right and not being in that top 20% of guys. Or Hell, maybe I was. I don't know. I think I would know if I was though.

Fuck it. I just hope the good Lord lets me know when my time is up so I can drive out to the woods, sit up against a tree, have a coke, and then let the clock run out. Leave my body for the coyotes, I'll be of some use then. Nobody's going to miss me, most will have forgotten I was ever there. No tears shed, no expensive funeral, nobody has to take time out of their life or work to see a dead dumbass, all will be well. And I'll leave space in the graveyard for a better man to rest with his family. Yeah. I'll be of good use once I'm gone.
