This song still makes me think of marching band.

Agreed. I grew up with that shit playing every Sunday.

Actually went and saw it one year not long ago and was mildly disappointed that most of the music is actually the same old pre recorded soundtrack, orchestra only there for emphasis. The modern Aussie run of it just doesn't quite have the same atmosphere.

Still liked it.

Lol if my dad got up first on a Sunday it was always Jeff Wayne's War of the Worlds. If we were supposed to be awake and wouldn't get up then Robert Plant's Fate of Nations got slapped on, first track 'Calling To You' starts off with a low electric guitar intro, you had about 30 seconds to wake the fuck up and/or block your ears before the bastard would crank the shit up on the volume for the beat drop and then you were up whether you wanted to be or not.

Also fucking funny watching Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em with Crawford as a young guy before he did any stage shows.

Fun times in my house back then.

I got to watch it at Her Majesty's Theater in London. 100% would do again.

I like the snoop dog version better.
