We're social animals. It's hard to ignore that. Unless of course you're psychotic or something. But most of us need some social interaction to live complete lives, even if it's minimal. And to live and function within a society there are rules so we follow the rules with the aim that we get at least as much back as we put in, preferably more. The ol' 1 + 1 = 3, you know?

So don't discount the value of functioning within a social structure, is all I'm saying. It does come with a cost though. And that says nothing about the quality of your society, which it could easily be argued is not that great today. But that's a different discussion.

When my Dad died he left behind a bunch of clothes. And it was all XXXL or XXXXL. He was a big, tall guy - way bigger than I am. Pity, cause it was all such good quality and well-kept stuff. Couldn't even save it for my son (who's now taller than I am) because I knew he'd never get fat enough to wear my Dad's stuff.

Lucky for my son (and daughter) I'll be leaving behind a bunch of really good stuff.

Yeah, my old man was a huge farm raised beast of a man. At least 6 inches taller than me and a hundred pounds heavier. He liked nice crisp button down short sleeve shirts. I tried to wear one while taking my wife out and she said I looked like a little boy in his dad's clothes. She didn't know it was his shirt, but that shit broke me down. I'm still keeping them even if I can't wear them.

Eh, there are benefits of wealth and showing that wealth. Similar to being tall, or white, employers are more likely to hire you because they expect you won't burn down the place. Right or wrong, if you have a nice watch, or pen, or car, or whatever, people will treat you like the person that you present to be. This is also an issue regarding race- if a well spoken black guy had a real Rolex, I would trust him more than a gang banger with a timex. I might not give him my money, but I would trust hom not to steal my wallet. I have worn the same "luxury" watch for the last 10 years and I carry a $400 pen. I also wear Cole haan saddle shoes or wingtips. Those staples have paid for themselves by helping me present as a wealthy and capable individual. A nice watch also helps with the clit diddling.

Go find a nice fountain or roller ball pen. Montblonc is one of the most expensive but they have a lot of counterfeit issues. I carry a Rebecca moss but I have several nice pens(tiffany, Parker, cross...). I have had my moss for 12 ish years. Call me a bitch all you want, when I sign something, people notice.
