This is the case for every single nigger that isn't working fast food or manual shit jobs. Not just since ESG, this has been the case for decades.
My second high school was private for very well off people and they always made sure to put the same niggers in all their brochures. One was a not-so-dark nigger that was actually, amazingly a cool guy. The other was this scummy West Side Story looking spic that was from Manhattan. He was a huge dickbag.

There's a lot to make fun of in this article, but there is a bigger lesson as well.
“This will be tough and there’s no way around that,” he wrote in a memo to staff. “It will mean saying goodbye to talented and passionate colleagues who have been part of our success.”
Companies talk a good game of family, etc. but they don't care at all. It is not worth putting your soul into any company you don't own.
I know a couple people that had bullshit jobs at big tech companies and when they got laid off it really came as a huge surprise. They thought it was a secure career job that would have until they retired and there was no back up plan. Completely stupid. They had no idea what to do next and now they were fucked. I don't run in those circles anymore so I'm not following up but I think that's what's going on with these people- how could this happen?? and what do I do now? They were all casual, laid back progressive jobs where they didn't really do anything.
Companies give the whole family song and dance to get your loyalty and obedience. Such a shame more people don't gather dirt while they work to share when they get the boot.
At a job I had as a teen, I threw away a special day for myself to do extra for my employer. I was their "hero." I was fired two weeks later for saying the wrong thing.
I guess it's easy to overlook the value of a job for life. I have worked places where you can have a job for life as long as you keep putting in the effort and have a niche. I always thought of it as a dead end for people. Regardless of what the job was.
and when they got laid off [...] there was no back up plan.
When I was unexpectedly laid off I still had enough money to move, buy a house, and start university. How you don't have at least one backup plan for everything boggles my mind. I have a backup plan when I go to get some gas and lunch.
I know there's a few private webgroups of recently laid off google employees where they can commiserate but really, why? The last thing I want to do if I'm laid off is talking about it with other ex colleagues.
