No both hormones are not linked to aggression. Testosterone differs little from one species to the next and the genes that it acts upon are “highly conserved” , i.e the similar from animal to animal.

Why are male animals more violent than female ones? Because males have cheap reproduction and under the right conditons they can become highly reproductively successful by screwing as many females as possible and killing other male competitors.

Polygamy/promiscuity has BIG pay offs for males as does aggression, but not for females— women cannot have 10x more babies by fucking alot more dudes and killing other females. Promiscuity/violence has good trade-offs for many males (under certain conditons) but hardly ever in females.

The genes that control maleness and male behavior are OLD. The behaviors that make men and male dogs and males bears and bulls and roosters behaviorally comparable are implemented by most of the same genes and turned on by testosterone. Estradiol does not turn on aggressive behaviors in blacks or black women would be the most aggressive people on the planet. Black women can hold a gun as well as anyone. But black men kill far more people.

I mean honestly, you are cherry picking your aggressive behavior. Most murder is committed by men and war is an overwhelmingly male behavior. Has there ever been an instance of females going to war and men staying home? No, because male murder and male war is almost always about males gaining control over a females . Not consciously. But that is what drive male aggression. Men are built for killing, emotionally.

In cold climates, a quality over quantity style of fatherhood succeeded. Males who provided meat to a small number of offspring by a single mate succeeded over promiscuous dead-beat dads. Monogamy led to lower sexual competition among men, which causes testosterone levels to drop. Males are only incentivized to murder each other when some males are hoarding more than one female, which creates a scarcity of available females. Monogamous animals have lower male intrasexual aggression ( the males dont try to kill each other)

I have given you a study which shows a 20% difference among college age black and white males for T. What’s different? They created a 25 year cohort for this study, lumping in 20 yr olds with 44 year olds. That is going to mitigate the testosterone variation that you see in the groups that are the most violent, young men. Why did they do that? Is estradiol highest in that group? Probably not. It probably goes up in men as they age because of fat.

Look at the body fat adjusted model (#2). If you convert to pg, there is a 4 pg difference between the black and white means for free testosterone and a 5 pg difference for estradiol. To put that in to perspective women have 10x that much estradiol. Are women 10x as aggressive?

These are tiny amounts of estradiol in males. You are assuming the relative difference accounts for massive behavioral differences in blacks that are not seen at all in women with much higher levels! But what are the sensitivities of these tests? Is the precision of the estradiol test the same as the testosterone test relative to the quantities being measured? Probably not, so that will minimize the variation (artificially) which is what allows them to state that the estradiol difference is significant but the testosterone difference is not.

I worked in statistics and quality control and there’s a million different ways you can game this data in the analysis and I cant tell you which ones they used for sure because I dont have the raw data and am not an endocrinologist. But I dont like their conclusions which contradict the data: blacks and mexicans have higher testosterone and estradiol

Remember that estradiol is produced from testosterone and aromatase. Why do blacks have more estradiol? Do they have higher levels of aromatase? Or testosterone? Or both.

Blacks are more on the ‘r’ side of the r/K reproductive spectrum: live fast, die hard, fuck alot. You would expect them to have more of all sex hormones. But the testosterone is the trigger to the aggression, and the melanin is the trigger to the emotionality.

The biggest problem with this data analysis, which I pointed out before but which you ignored, is that blacks are not all black. 95% of black americans have between 90 and 40% african ancestry. Half have more than 25%. If you eliminate that half you will have the blacks with the lowest IQ and the highest violence and the highest testosterone levels AND the difference will be staistically significant.

Someone posted a study a few days ago which measured IQ against % white ancestry. This produced an even stronger link to IQ and race because it accounted for variation in ancestry among black identifying people. The same will be true for testoterone.
