Take our interstate highway system, for example. We used to do real work, now many of us travel to cubicles in some corporate hellhole to fiddle with computers.

There's little about our current society and way of life that should survive. But again, I think we've become so parasite-friendly at the prompting of the parasites themselves, since forever.
