they want all the money in one account that will accrue interest, then you have money from all the students that leave being left in the account too, probably start to really add up over the years, esp at a private school.

It's a good way to keep track of the students as well. Not to mention the onerous fees, spending limits for not having enough school good boy points, and various other regulations/fees designed specifically to drain the account over time.

It's a private school, not a casino or a hotel with pokies. No one cares if you had a sausage roll and coke for lunch. More than likely they are trying to stop theft from the tuck shop cash registers. Also a good way to monitor what your kid is eating. When I was a kid in private school, all the ladies at the cash registers were mums and volunteers. With the price of private schools today, wouldn't be surprised if they were skimming a little.

You would think for a school, they would want kids to learn the importance of spending money.

This guy isn't the sharpest of tools.

Currency is still legal tender, if they refuse to accept legal tender, refuse to pay for the item.

I think that is only true in the US. Maybe someone can verify.

Other countries don't exist, everything revolves around the personal experiences of individuals that reside in the USA.

The Australian dollar, comprising notes and coins, is legal tender in Australia. Australian notes are legal tender by virtue of the Reserve Bank Act 1959, s.36(1), without an amount limit.

True for almost every country on the planet, except for overseas territories that use another national currency and shithole nigger nations.
