I knit one very similar to this a few years ago and still use it. The great thing about cotton ones like this is you can toss it in the washer and dryer no problem.
Nice! It would be nice to see more of your work. Trying to get my daughters into this kind of stuff. still a bit young, but they have an oval loom and are making scarves at the moment. The wife made lots of hats for the family using a round loom, but she is pretty busy so hasn't really dived into it lately.

Encourage them! But be forewarned; it's one of those crafts that can take you deep into the rabbit hole of obscure and complex stitches but it's so rewarding. On the old voat I posted pics of the Latvian mittens I made but here they are again: https://files.catbox.moe/9es67u.JPG
Wow, now that is amazing work. So nice to see actual hand made stuff, especially knowing the skill and effort that went into it. My girls have a small attention span, so they bounce between several hobbies. Calligraphy, cross stitch, quilting, knitting, and the oldest is trying drawing. It's a bit circular, and they are all under 11yrs old, so I just help as best I can whatever the craft they are on. Keep up the good work, and I will look forward to seeing more stuff from you.
