why is it that when american women say "i have a boyfriend" it always carries a connotation of "haha i'm not single and you are!" I've only heard american women do this. also, why does it appear that every female has a boyfriend but there are SHITLOADS of men who've been single for years at a time? could it be that women are all "dating" the same men?
