Accepting homosexuality as normal leads to this

So yet again we can blame all this on the baby boomers who allowed faggots to remove homosexuality as a mental illness in the 70s

Partly yes but also blame ourselves for doing nothing

Back when high school kids ran the world. You're late for the party.

Accepting as normal anything anathema to the natural human condition leads to this; the homos were just the vanguard.

It all leads back to homosexuality

Depends on the bridge, and circumstances.

Yep. Did it. My friends too. New River Gorge bridge BASE jump.

BASE jumping carries a 0.2-0.4% injury rate per jump, and a fatality rate of 0.04% per jump.

I've seen a lot of the videos, and it does look like a fun way to die. The injuries look a lot less fun. But yeah, that only happens when someone makes a mistake.

I think most of my friends (and associates) who enjoyed death defiance are dead now. The first was Jim Devon, who promised he'd be dead before 21, and he was correct.

Engaging in a entire cornucopia of life shortening vices over the course of several decades, involving, but not limited to, fast cars, bad whiskey, ladies of questionable virtue and ground combat on four different continents, I was supposed to be dead by thirty. Come next month I'll be staring down the barrel of my sixty-second birthday. Go figure. (And, yes. I still skydive.)

Depends on if I can make it to the end of the bridge before the train can catch me.

Being that my friends are mostly intelligent, rational, and White, I would at least look around to figure out why they were jumping off a bridge. /end contrarian post

Fudged numbers overestimate reality.
The rest just lie about it now.

Excellent question, but flawed in a way these folks are already picking apart...but it also brings up a greater question about peer pressure vs self thinking in lots of situations...they found a way to break the barrier between "young and dumb" and "sheep for life".

I would, Monica, if an out-of-control oil tanker was heading for it!
