F..k man, my sentiments exactly. I'm afraid of wild dogs. Going for a walk or a bike ride in the bush and suddenly being surrounded by a couple of hungry pitbulls. And in Aus I'm not even allowed to carry pepper spray ffs.

that is a problem, neri. I too love cycling. Unfortunately the weather in winter is not often suitable for that. I have often had dogs running after me, furiously as if they wanted to tear me apart (they were not pitbulls). Then I quietly get off, turn my bike across to them, pretend to pick up a stone from the ground and, as if by magic, those stupid beasts turn around, back whence they came and, howling! (pure animal psychology trick)

More fear porn. They want people to be afraid of anything that isn't familiar. I grew up in the Mojave desert. There's nothing about it that can terrify me. In fact, I'm the opposite: I really don't like large cities very much because they make me uncomfortable.
