We are already at net zero by their own metrics, it also doesn't matter since we pollute globally by such a small percentage it is nearly unnoticeable. This is also under the assumption that Co2 is bad and anthropogenic climate change even exists.

Man I haven't seen Net Zero dial up for 30 years. I wonder if their shitty ad bar still gets in the way if fullscreen applications and games.

Edit: holy fucking shit. They only give you 10 hours of free dial up a month and actually have the gall to charge 30 bucks for dial up.

Is dialup even usable for internet now? 56kbps (technically 53) is insanely slow. Your average normie page loads something like 10mb of bullshit for no reason whatsoever. At 53kbps (if your line can even get that), you're looking at 25 minutes just to load a fucking page.

So basically they're just ripping off the few places left that don't have cable or DSL, and are out of range for cellular. But then again if you're out that far, that's probably WHY you're there, and don't give a shit about internet.

The only thing dialup is good for anymore is SSH or textmode browsing. But I doubt someone stuck down in the holler is gonna be savvy to that kinda thing.
