I tried some "Beyond Meat™" Jerky a while back.
It wasn't bad. The ingredients weren't outrageous. Like "Mung Bean Protein". OK, whatever.
The second ingredient was Brown Sugar.
Then there was a looooooooooong list of other ingredients. Nothing really too spooky.

But, what they aren't telling you is, all these 100 ingredients aren't coming from your back yard. Probably some 3rd world country. And they all get super processed.

My jerky comes from a cow in my pasture. It has 5 ingredients that I can trace. The most exotic mystery ingredient is salt.

The meat and dairy industries are at least as dangerous. And they appear to be burning down giant chicken barns for shits and giggles lately.
