Definitely long past that critical mass.
Yeah, I may have been being generous. What comes after critical mass is an interesting questions. The study of history is good, and it gives a lot of general answers, but the specifics are what are interesting to explore, even, and sometimes especially, when I'm wrong.
Roger dodger Whiskey Mike, chatter through MI666 channels registers tactical uplink at your pos. Be advised, hostile activity has been observed at operation local, proceed with caution. Epic Mickey suggests super tangos are ready white for a lima yankee scenario.
You're the only one who can stop this, Punished Schizo, good luck. 5 by 5, two more weeks, over and out.
I wrote a bunch of basic-bitch applications in sdl and python to do trend prediction and timeseries forecasting, among a hundred other utilities. Heres just one.
It started out with stylometry so I could run clustering for common word usage and find accounts that were run by the same people. I cloned the repository and built it without the frontend. Each application can feed the next, either through commandline (unix pipes style) or through a userscript. Thats what the 'sources' button is for.
So for example, I run autoscrap on a place like gateway pundit. Userscript loads the shell I wrote specifically for TGP. The last line of that specific program gets piped to the userscript, which passes it clustering and stylometry, giving me a one-hot encoded list of keywords and phrases, (BOW model). I run it through a simple PCA to find all the accounts with common language and phrasing as well as one hot over ngrams so bag-of-words doesn't lose some of the linguistic fingerprints.
Why is this important. Because identifying accounts all using the same exact language, usually leads to information operations (i.e. propaganda outfits). More importantly, they use scripts to determine how to reply or what to write, and they really can't change this tactic because of the size and scale of their operations.
And because I have those associated user accounts (updated daily), I know (maybe) what the agenda is for that given threat actor (foreign or domestic intelligence).
This information then gets passed into a GraphQL database, with attached nodes for "subject matter" organized on hourly, daily, weekly, and monthly timescales.
A lot of this is simply run on commandline but I also have these low level applications for manually exploring the data, clustering, finding principal components, running analysis to find sentiment, or prioritize subjects in a document, reanalyzing graphs to determine how commentator accounts across sites use language, what topics they focus on, what times and days they post on (including some holidays because this is useful for determining region and ethnicity). I've written a couple subsystems to use jeff hawkins system for anomaly detection and its yielded a few insights as well.
Theres a bunch of shit I wrote the scripts to do and frontends designed for exploring that data and finding insights and trends.
The datagathering portion is automated and dumps to a zip file. I use a fresh disposable usb each day to move that data from the one machine connected to the internet, to my main work station where I keep all my tool scripts and front ends. Except for the usb, that system is airgapped, its a one way flow of information.
edit: incidentally this is the system that reported the u.s./israel attack on iran. I have a module called "incident hog" and all it does is looks for correlations in datasources, and it reported a similar event from a few years back, namely a sudden drop in 'third party' news source frequency, right before an attack. The frequency was with alt news sites that sit at the juncture between u.s. and israeli intelligence, so I knew where the likely attack was coming from, but not who was going to be attacked. Iran or turkey were educated guesses, though I'm working on scripts to automate that too.
Sounds a little bit like something Clif High is up to. Linguistic analysis, although he is not attempting to cluster people, but instead ideas and events. You familiar with Clif High?
Just reading up on him. I see hes using a lot of tools and techniques for some fringe type research. Hes an interesting dude from what I can see though.
Anything particular by him that I should read or watch?
Nothing I can think of now. He's a little bit all over the place. High IQ, but very scatter brain. I only follow him occasionally. He used to send out a paid newsletter with his predictions called the Alta report I think. But he stopped doing that and now has a Substack and Bitchute channel instead.
I'm not a huge fan because his predictions are more like throw 100 things at the wall and see if something sticks, but he has a lot of esoteric knowledge in his head and does come up with some interesting insights.
He's the one that coined the term "vaccindents" for example, when he started noticing what he suspected are vaxx-induced accidents happening more frequently.
I've seen Utah come up a number of times on tertiary suspicious accounts on twitter and other sources a number of time. Just passing mentions of it. That reminds me, I should check the trending keywords queue more often, thanks.

this is the problem. The "finality" of the event horizon. The framework upon which the fantasies are fueled with suspense, always living in the crescendo, waiting for the climax that never comes, then divert the attention to another event, and repeat the cycle. nobody does anything meaningful, authentic, original. We're all waiting to apply the solutions they gave us to the problems they impose on us. Humanity is complicit in this downfall. the only solution is chaos.
Yes, something serious will happen in the next 24-48 hours. And something serious will also happen in the next 24-48 hours after that. And also after that...

Putin's lowering his tone because he thinks theres about to be a major escalation of some sort.
JFK was willing to start a nuclear war over putting Russian nukes in Cuba. Same energy.
Absolutely, spot on.
the first instinct should be to side eye this government and look for indications of another false flag.
that would be the playbook, yes.
And if everyone who isn't asleep at the wheel expects it to happen, and the u.s. expects it to happen, and russia expects it to happen, then russia has every reason to do it themselves because
1. they control exactly where, when, and how much damage is done, minimizing them getting blamed, and the severity of the attack (civilian vs infrastructure vs military targets)
2. this fits the same playbook for the initial opening conflict between russia and ukraine. It's playbook again.
Russia would be fucking foolish to not make a decisive move here, either call it off entirely, and let the u.s. collapse on its own momentum (no big-bad to push against), or go the distance and carry out an attack whose outcome they control to their advantage.
Letting the u.s. and israel and britain decide what happens next is a fools errand and suicide for russia.
Russia hasn't lowered its tone. Russia never suggested they were going to take Ukraine and Russia has no need to escalate anything. The Russians are selling more oil and LNG than ever, and the US is spending more in Ukraine, fighting a proxy war, than Russia spends on its entire military. They are bleeding us to death and they have no reason to increase tensions. If the status quo kept as is, the US and EU would collapse and Russia would be all the stronger with newly formed relations with China, Israel, Saudi Arabia, and several African countries, while the US and EU get stuck with massive debt and 40% higher gas and oil prices. They politicians in the US and EU might be okay with that but the people won't be.
They are bleeding us to death and they have no reason to increase tensions.
But they do. If the russian's are bleeding us to death, and they don't plan on changing their approach any time soon, then the u.s. will have to force them to change their approach.
Russia knows that moment is coming.
So the question is, if you're russia, what do you do with that information?
Russia can sit and wait until provoked, which is unlikely. The people don't support an open war with Russia and China.
Russia knows that standing by and letting us bleed is the best approach. They look calm and rational to the rest of the world as the US, EU, and NATO look like clear aggressors by proxy. The people will put an end to this war by forcing the politicians to change course. Russia needn't do anything that could be construed as aggressive.
They "liberated" the 2 regions that the said they would, prior to the incursion, and Ukraine is killing itself to get the territories back for no better reason than to resume shelling those regions and killing those opposed to the western backed and illegitimate Kiev government.
That "something" was done when the US and Norway created an act of war, and international war crime by blowing up that pipeline. Russia need only shot back until proof of the operation is made clear, as it is happening, then settle the matter on the international stage.
You talking about isfahan? That was almost a month ago. If the iranians were gonna do something they would have done it in the first 1-3 weeks after. Look at the incident reports of iranian-backed palestinian missile attacks against israel, right after they killed qasem soleimani. The retaliation didn't take very long did it?
