Just spitballing here, but to me it smells like Matthew tried to explain some realities to family members and their cognitive dissonance kicked into high gear.

I had some family members who got quite angry with me for trying to red pill them and told me I was crazy and now they are all saying “you were right” and they are ‘noticing’ jewish bullshit on their own without being prompted. I still am always trying to re-educate them on their incorrect beliefs and there is inevitable backslide, which is really annoying.
