Air chocolates, empty chocolates, vacuum chocolates, space chocolates, void chocolates, nether chocolates, no chocolates, missing chocolates, that's ... that's about it.
Most recipes are based on common sized packaging. When a recipe calls for 12oz of something, 99 times out of 100, the package of that thing was 12oz. Now, with the package being 10.5oz, it fucks shit up. Now, I have to buy 2 of that thing to get the 12oz. And, before you tell me to ratio shit, you can't use 5/6th of an egg.
That, and they also trick their chickens into believing it is still summer with lights on timers and stuff.
We tried that, but our birds are not fooled. I had been giving them crushed up oyster shells, which seemed to work perfectly, but I can't find oyster shells anywhere now, so I've been giving them what I've been calling their 'yummy rocks'. They eat em up; and they do seem to help somewhat. Feed store guy said it's almost as good as oyster shell, but of course he says that because he wants to sell it.
Go on ebay and buy by the pound. 1 pound is 16oz, if you are a regular cook you already have a stockpile of certain items that you know you always use.
I don't think you understand how this shit works. Of course I have regular items common in lots of recipes, but it's the specific perishable items for dishes that I have never made before or make only ever so often.
It was my first time making stuffed pork. I didn't think I was going to get a lot of juice to make gravy, so I store bought the package. I had already had it made when the loin came out of the oven. There was juice for daze, but I was hungry and lazy. Left overs will have the legit gravy.
Wife and I found a store that deals in food that is turning bad or over it's expiration date. It's so fucking awesome. We were in there last week and they had free organic bananas, Brussel sprouts were .10/cents a lb. Thats a bag of the fuckers for .11 cents. The pallet of bananas which was @ chest high as we entered the store, was down to 2 cases when we finished shopping. They were in perfect condition. Tomatos are .59/lb max, dead of winter. Nearest competitor near here is $2.99/lb. There will be bad ones in the box, so you need to go slow and careful to get good ones.

It's the reserve bank hiking up interest rates to stall inflation, namely from unprecedented national debt incurred directly from unnecessary covid-19 vaccinations, from an orchestrated and survivable pandemic.
This global economic whirlwind is the real cost of the pandemic in shaping global markets and restructuring national economies.

Most of the bulk stuff I get comes in bags, but not from a conventional grocery store. Haven't been to one of those in 10 years or so. You definitely do have to check ingredients, for the reasons you say.
I've noticed since mostly living outside the US, how much better food is in quality in other countries. Produce still tastes like something. I don't eat eggs, or really any dairy for that matter, but the girls say they're better where we are.
