Food wars was great.
I really liked going into my kitchen and trying to recreate the recipes I saw in that show.
Why aren't there any other anime like that?

i can attest. i think fruit basket has some of that, if am not mistaken but that's a shojo (anime for girls) in which some ppl can be turned off at.

there are some gay ass anime that's for sure. but you got to be picky to watch the good stuff

never finished the series because i'm a dub fan and the dub never came for the final 5 episodes of the season or something

but yeah the series are quite different, it can be said that it has a "slice of life" quality to it.

anime is the only medium that the japanese can tell a good story since their films are subpar in my opinion.

Ah! You're missing out. It goes in a completely different direction after the first eps. Hachimaki joins a project to build a huge interplanetary spacecraft and there's a whole political subplot with terrorists and globalists.

Hey! The way we do things is all the regulars make nominations, then we vote on them. This time we picked Uzaki chan wants to hang out. We did watch planetes, it's awesome. I've read the manga too. The others sound interesting.

You need to make an account. It's an option we turned on for the channel to deal with spammers (read: Gabara filling the chat with random crap). If privacy is a concern you can use a throwaway email, or no email at all.

Gros usually puts on old school anime after the main night is done.
