A lot of that has to do with how they push communism into all media. If you don't have some woke bullshit in there, it is automatically turned down by publishers/mega-corps/banks/etc. Indie gaming is where it's at now, and has been for a long fuckin time.
Interesting that you brought up indie gaming, because I just finished an indie game called Hollow Knight last night. Sadly, near the end I discovered an NPC that's a dyke. If I played it back when it came out in 2017 it may not have bothered me as much, but in the past couple of years they've ramped up the faggotry by six gorillion percent in pretty much everything. Similar to nigger fatigue, I am now suffering from total queer exhaustion so much that even an optional NPC that barely had any lines ruined my mood.
