The text of the post is clearly bullshit. It is written by someone who has never been outside the urban/sub-urban bubble. The tone was way off but I knew it was fake when i got to "We paid him for rights to use that land, hunting, fishing..." lolz. The entire concept of a 'hunting lease' or paying someone for permission to hunt on their land is something that only makes sense to a city-slicker. If it really was thousands of acres of 'almost completely desolate' land, then there is no way the locals paid anyone to hunt it... they just hunted. Locals always know the good spots and when they will get in trouble. If they need to get permission it is done with a 6pack and a handshake.
So I conclude the post glows. My question is "what is the glowie's angle?" Seems to be pushing feudalism? The message was very much "Everything was better when the king owned everything. It all went to shit when he died and his sons split up the kingdom."
It's based on authentic sentiments. I've seen what he described happen to multiple towns. I'm an hour away from the closest city but the sprawl has almost reached us in the past ten years. Entirely driven by yankees from the New England area. NY, NJ, CT and PA plates everywhere you go from Virginia to Florida. Even Kentucky and Tennessee have been infected. Jew York has had the highest out-migration rate in the nation several years in a row. A record half million left last year. Only foreign immigrants are keeping their population numbers from plummeting.
There's all kind of hunting clubs in rural places and many of them are out-of-stater scumballs. Local hunting clubs do charge a shitload a year if you want to join. Not everybody has land or a place to hunt so some have to pay. It used to be up until the late 90's that everybody paid 5 bux a year to Wes Vaco(timber company) and could get a key to the gate, hunt, fish and get downed wood. Most Jew Yorkers are not based. They're loud mouthed scum. Most people who do have land will not allow anyone to hunt on it except for fam and close friends because of liability issues.
