Attention to ornamental detail and well balanced proportions. The more expensive stuff you probably don’t want to abuse, considering the price, but you can get a really nice sword from there made from 5160 or even 6150 (with added vanadium) spring steel that is heat treated for around 300 bucks. There are various youtube channels that test out the various swords that can be found on those sites and show you how well they hold up against all sorts of abuse.
