For game companies to preserve online only games. These are games that require an internet connection, are multiplayer based only, or that are downloaded from an online store. For game companies to make games in physical form (disc, cartridge, etc.) as well as downloadable For game companies to make/ship games complete. No dlc or add ons. For game companies to make games not have casino or gambling functions/features that require any real money. (loot boxes, microtransactions, nft's, paid dlc, stuff like in game purchases.) And for most games to have a mode were you can play alone. Obviously a single player campaign. And to be able to be played offline whether on disc or downloaded if your not playing with other people. This GG 2023 campaign should be kept away from GG 2014 so game companies cant accuse us of any -ists, isms, or -phobes, or being some sort of hate campaign but they probably will accuse us of that so be prepared. And for games and consoles to be fairly priced and for reasonable devolpment and advertising budgets. And for games companies to stop selling out to the monopolist big 3 and for games to be on as many platforms as possible. The big three going foward from now on should make their own game studio's if they want a game on a platform for themselves while every currently existing game studio should put all their past, present, and future releases on all platforms.
I just want consumers rights in games and for games to be made the way they used to be made.
Don't buy the product. It's the only thing that works.
Other people are buying the product. Well "the market" has spoken, get another hobby if you're pissed.
"For game companies to preserve online only games." What are you willing to pay for that, it's not an entitlement. You are not entitled to things other created. Ever made anything?
"For game companies to make games in physical form (disc, cartridge, etc.) as well as downloadable" The market. You're a minority.
"For game companies to make/ship games complete. No dlc or add ons." Even free ones?
"For game companies to make games not have casino or gambling functions/features that require any real money." What requirement, it's a choice, The market is choosing.
