I’m so rediculusly comfortable talking about that. Real white people love talking about genealogy. I’m mainly Danish and Swedish, followed by some French and Scottish. My Granda grew up on a farm in Alberta, Calgary area, and my other one was an only child growing up in California. His wife was from Texas. They had 10 kids. He spent most of his life trying to complete 2 phds, in both chemistry and pharmacology. On the other side my father was born with my grandfather’s second wife. He was an only child under them, but had two half brothers. On my paternal line it ends as far as we can take it back, still in the Americas to the 1730s.

Now ask a black person that question and it gets more complicated way quicker and dead ends way quicker.

In my part of the world, every small town has a museum, where they've kept track of all the settlers and where they were from. Everyone knows their heritage. And everyone here has a reason to be proud of their's.

White people are extremely proud of their culture and heritage.

Every person I've ever been close with, in my entire live, I have talked about heritage with.
