Once upon a time a bitch went for my head with a baseball bat. Twice.

The first time she missed and hit mu shoulder. Damn near broke it. Second time I was on the ground and rolled out of the way just in time for the bat to crash down on to my backpack. I'd been attacked by a group of "take back the night" lesbians who were patrolling the college campus looking for guys to beat up.

I got lucky. They caught another guy that night and put him in the hospital for two weeks. Funny how the college administration never talked about this. And it still goes on to this day.

I don’t care if you don’t believe it. It happened. Where I went to college they’d do this big “take back the night” thing once a year. That year I forgot and stayed in the library too late working on a paper. When I left, I was about half way off campus when I group of 7 or 8 big females spotted me and started chasing me. I accidentally crashed in to another gal on a blind corner next to the gym while running away and the group caught up to me. That’s when the shit hit the fan. Sure they were gals, but they were big and the one had a fucking bat. On managing to get up I actually head butted her in the nose hard enough to see some blood and then took off running. I ran straight through the cemetery and kept going for a total of about 1/2 mile.

It was a scary fucking encounter. The girls thought I’d attacked the girl I ran in to and wanted to fuck me up something bad. Like I said they later caught a guy and put him in the hospital. There was a small mention in the college paper but it was all hushed up in the name of political correctness. This happened back in 1992-1993 before we’d coined the term ‘wokeness’.

They still have ‘take back the night’ marches, and as I understand it, you’d still better not be a guy on campus on those nights.

I doubt a single man will be the attacker. Body armor is issued for riot control. There is a serious flaw in this design. A molotov cocktail will immobolize anyone wear this armor. I am not saying our side shouldn't be acquiring and using it but there is a difference between real world application and a demo video for investors.

It's usually just gasoline, although I suppose if you were feeling especially evil, you could add some homemade napalm, but I don't know how that would affect the breakability of the glass and the spread pattern of the contents.

With a knife, armpits can be real easy to overlook. Lots of nerves too, so the pain can help disable them.

With a bat the knees and shins can be good depending on armor. But even with armor a good stomp with weight behind it can damage the joint and take someone out of a fight.

I'm pretty sure they only showed this thing against melee weapons because it's shit against firearms. Typically hard armor is, not that I'm some kind of expert. So I don't think you need a special rifle just any bullet will do.

Just so you all know, the stuff that casts are made of can do pretty much all of that. Honestly doesn't take high tech armor. The exception is stopping the bullet. So Kevlar over fiberglass cast. So you can make your own with about $50 in materials.

I would think the same thing. I would like to see 144 grain 9mm just to see. 308, 357, 5.56, and 7.62 would be the benchmarks. 2.23 is shit I would expect a 22 to perform better.

Really short clip of the shooting, it appears the armor worked, but it doesn't look like that guy got off as easy as the bat and stab attempts... I don't see him arresting somebody for a few minutes at least
