I had a pal that befriended a stripper. She hung herself from a ceiling fan. I was surprised it held up, until I had to install my own ceiling fans. The support has to be bolted to a joist or it will wobble over time. You can totally hang yourself from a ceiling fan, if it’s installed per the provided hardware and directions. If it breaks before you die: that’s not an act of God sparing your life. That’s because of a bum that cut corners on the install. I have six fans in my house, I installed them. I could hang myself with confidence from any one of them. And I would turn it on so that the comedy of me swinging around might reduce the trauma of finding my corpse. Hang yourself close to the hub. Pull the chain after you jump off the chair. And wear slippers, it’s funnier if your shoes fling off.
