Variations lead to homsexuality and transexuality. These pathological variations are unlikely to be caused by genetics and more likely a result of infections from viruses and bacteria or perhaps by chemical exposures.

I wont say gay is 100% biological. Its probably 80/20, like IQ or many other behavioral traits. But a medical cause underlies MOST queerness. Woke college students may say they are pan-sexual or non-binary to fit in. But this 3000% will never pan out.

I see everything as being a matter of "born that way", "nature vs nurture" is a false dichotomy, everything is 100% genetic because genetics determines how anything you experience from your environment affects you. If you were to somehow give the exact same series of experiences to yourself and someone else, you will react differently because the reactions programmed in by genes are different. People are organisms, which are defined biologically as "a set of genes expressing themselves in a series of environments". It's not nature or nurture, but a specific combination of the two, which produces the interactions that we are the product of.

That said, I brought up that if "sexuality is a spectrum between straight and gay" for almost everyone, then that means that "homosexuals" (homophiles) DO have a choice to engage in "heterosexual" (normal) behaviors just as normal people have the ability to be satisfied by perversions ("paraphilias"), of which I consider homophilia to be one.

On another note, I subscribe to the two-factor model of explaining the origin of same-sex oriented sexual attractions: The studies conducted which support a congenital explanation and the studies which support an experiential cause are both not predictive enough on their own to serve as a sole cause of homosexual desires.

Most men who were molested by men as boys turn out heterosexual, and most men who were born under the in-utero conditions which are favored by liberals as the "sole cause" also turn out to be straight, if less masculine.

Both do have a strong enough correlation to imply a contribution to same-sex desires, but neither are strong enough to offer a solid basis for them being causal factors (for nature, the twin studies need to be more predictive, and for nurture you need to account for why so many victims weren't affected like the homos were).

However, when you make it a combination of the two factors - Men who were molested by men as boys while having the natural predisposition to being turned gay/bisexual by the experience. All of a sudden the predictive reliability goes way up.

As for turning gay in college, keep in mind there are multiple possible connections to be drawn here:

- They were more likely to turn gay when under the influence of peer pressure from an environment that clearly encourages and favors homosexuality.

- They were more likely to go to college if they were the type to later come out as gay, given that college offers so much supports (frequently overwhelmingly so) for those who would shift to living a gay lifestyle.

- The traits that make someone more likely to be a gay are identical or co-occurring with the traits that make one more likely to seek a college education.

- The traits associated with gayness tend to be more geographically present in areas where people are more likely to get a college education.
