Gun Owners of America Shows That The New ATF Pistol Brace Rule is a Trap

If you abide by and follow the new rules and file the paperwork for an SBR, you'll be incriminating yourself and handing them the evidence they need to prosecute you for a felony that they just made up out of thin air.

Please recall that this is the same regulatory agancy that said that a piece of string could be a machinegun and act as you think best.

[ - ] FreeinTX 2 points 1.3 yearsJan 20, 2023 17:50:26 ago (+2/-0)

It isn't even a law. It's a rule.

It will be challenged using the same arguments to challenge the OSHA rule change and will be destroyed by the 6-3 court.

Unconstitutional. Means NOTHING

[ - ] FreeinTX 0 points 1.3 yearsJan 21, 2023 09:08:04 ago (+0/-0)

Odd, unconstitutional is the reason your not required to get a vaccine to work for a company with over 100 employees.

Unconstitutional is why Joe Biden couldn't forgive student loan debt.

Unconstitutional is why we still have AR-15's.

Unconstitutional is why the governor of NY couldn't apply her needs test to gun permits.

Unconstitutional is why you can own a gun in Chicago.

Unconstitutional is why you don't have to pay a fine for not having Obamacare.

Unconstitutional is why fags can get married.

Unconstitutional seems to mean something. And it will be Unconstitutional for the ATF to reinterpret one of their own rules without the proper avenues being taken, just like it was Unconstitutional for OSHA to do it

[ - ] Not_a_redfugee 3 points 1.3 yearsJan 20, 2023 21:44:48 ago (+3/-0)

So basically this lawyer is saying the ATF's new rule doesn't really make sense and the ATF didn't seem to think things through, or they did think it through and are trying to trap and imprison a whole bunch of *now illegal gun owners. He's pretty much saying "dude I don't fuckin know what to tell you about this new rule right now" because even the ATF doesn't fuckin know exactly how this new rule works.

tl;dr - Don't any of you niggerfags fall for this. Don't you fuckin DARE give the ATF your fingerprints and address and picture of your "SBR." If you want to shoot it, take it to a friend's place in the country. Don't take it to a range. And if you must use it for self defense, be sure to practice the 3 S's.

I have some problems with this...

1. It's dangerous misinformation.

2. Free legal advice is worth what it costs.

3. Legal advice should be confidential.

4. Hypothesizing about legal outcomes harms the lawyering profession in reputation and income.

5. Hypothesizing also harms the reputation and enforcement efforts of the federal government.

YouTube and this quack should be disbarred, sued, and held accountable for damages. Everyone involved should issue a retraction and an apology.

Didn’t watch yet but my logic is roughly like this: Once a lower is registered as a SBR it’s a huge pain in the ass always. Want to cross state lines? Better ask daddy gov. Want to sell? Better ask daddy gov. Want your wife to not be a felon? Can’t leave her alone with it or with access to it. Etc etc etc. The shiny ‘fee waived’ isn’t worth all that headache. If I have pistols they are staying as pistols, any aow will be aow, and any firearms will firearms, and it is bs that all those names and definitions even exist

I think this is going to slow roll into a registry. It'll start with amnesty and free stamps for braces moving onto free stamps for "other" things other than auto which is still restricted from manufacture (in most cases). Eventually the lefties will chirp up as a knee jerk reaction to some dramatic event and more things will require a (now free) stamp, let's say everything short of revolvers/levers/pumpers/breachers. At this point the ATF would be essentially acting as a registry that knows the location/owner/type etc of nearly every firearm in the country and owners have all the additional restrictions associated with owning a stamp item such as traveling across state lines/moving/resale tracking etc. And if you decide to purchase a new firearm it'll have to stay in lockup until big brother processes the paperwork.

I'm not sure everyone is looking at this from the right point of view at the moment, don't let them tempt you into consenting to additional infringements.

Bingo. Normies are already doing it with suppressors. They’ll bend over and take this too.

[ - ] MasklessTheGreat 2 points 1.3 yearsJan 20, 2023 15:29:46 ago (+2/-0)

Is it an actual law or some arbitrary rule they created but can’t actually enforce but will anyway?

[ - ] watts2db 1 point 1.3 yearsJan 20, 2023 17:09:24 ago (+1/-0)

most plead guilty and take some tempting deal bc the process is the punishment

[ - ] FreeinTX 2 points 1.3 yearsJan 20, 2023 17:51:04 ago (+2/-0)

There will be an injunction in place before the first arrest.

BATF rules are like rabbis arguing about how to keep the Sabbath until it's a 3000 page book called the Talmud. It really is rabbinical law.
