I have to thank my current flat earth interlocutor for prompting me to watch this again. Actual flatter quote follows:

The heliocentric model claims that seasons are caused by the position on the earth tilted on its axis relative to the sun. Because the earth is a sphere, 50% would always be illuminated. They claim the earth makes a complete rotation every 24 hours. This means that daylight has to last 12 hours all year. This is not observed in reality, proving the earth is not a sphere rotating around the sun. Thus the seasons cannot be due to the spherical earths relative position.

Spot any deviatiations from reality?

Also, that 8" per mile squared formula [jewtube link] the flatters offer to determine whether you should be able to see a surface object at a distance is for a parabola, not a sphere...

Actual formula: h = r-r cos(s/2r)

h = height r = radius of earth s = arc length
