Lessons from watching people die.

submitted by bobdole9 to WatchPeopleDie 1.3 yearsJan 18, 2023 00:08:20 ago (+32/-1)     (WatchPeopleDie)

Original post from WPD.

Another person's work, I agree with the list and thought it was worth sharing. It's not about the gore, it's learning how not to end up like these usually unfortunate souls.

1. Stay aware of your surroundings.

2. Don’t ever get on a motorcycle.

3. Maybe avoid bicycles, too.

4. Never wear loose clothing around spinning machinery or moving parts.

5. Stay observant around heavy machinery and vehicles.

6. Electricity kills. Don’t fuck with it.

7. Don’t get mixed up with criminal stuff. Especially in Brazil.

8. Wear your seatbelt, keep your feet off the dash, and keep your body inside the car when it is moving.

9. Pay attention and stay alert while driving.

10. Learn to swim.

11. Always assume that the large truck can’t see or hear you.

12. Stay the fuck away from wild animals.

13. If you are going to fuck around and playfight with a friend, do so on grass, not concrete.

14. You won’t beat the train. Just wait.

15. Keep your kids close and keep your eyes on them at all times. Teach them how to swim and how to safely cross the road.

16. Don’t assume a vehicle will stop just because you have the right of way.

17. Never spend time around people who don’t value your life, either by driving recklessly, mishandling weapons, or instigating fights.

18. Don’t let your ego goad you into fights with strangers. You never know how far they’ll go. It’s never worth it.

19. If you live in an area with well regulated safety guidelines and building codes – be grateful.

20. Realize that sometimes you can do everything right and minimize all the risks — and a brick will still come flying through your windshield.

When you're approaching a red light and it turns green never proceed through the intersection unless you can see both sides of the crossing Street and you can absolutely see that everyone has absolutely stopped. This little rule saved my life last year when a concrete truck ran a red light at least 3 seconds after it had changed and I was approaching the newly green light. If I hadn't paid attention he would have hit me on the driver side and I'd be dead.

Most killings on wpd are shit skins.

So you left out the most important lesson.

Ware your surroundings when near shit skins

I prefer to avoid poo holes in general.

Haven't even seen a lot of the ones listed. I'd love to see some lion eating African content but haven't seen any of that. Don't think I've seen kids, electrocutions, or drownings, but may have skipped them.

[ - ] Love240 1 point 1.3 yearsJan 18, 2023 14:12:13 ago (+1/-0)

The electrocutions are almost always Indians and Chinese. Drownings; africans/blacks.

21. Don't be born Chinese or Indian.

Despite having a small lathe in my workshop I still have eight fingers and two thumbs. The full complement. I attribute this to watching "watch people die" and learning that the bad events that I try to avoid are always waiting and watching, hoping to catch me if I get careless.

[ - ] bobdole9 [op] 4 points 1.3 yearsJan 18, 2023 09:15:44 ago (+4/-0)

I was lucky when one of my fingers "brushed" the table saw blade. ER nurse said it was "pretty chunked up". It's still attached, just half numb now.

The dumbest part was that my finger was cut as I was finishing my last cut and was turning the saw off.

Always waiting and watching is correct.

21. Move out of your neighborhood if children go missing or if <95% if neighborhood is a different race.

There's a great short story: The Bridge At Saint Louis Rey (I may have the title slightly wrong). In it a rope bridge across a chasm had broken, killing several people. A religious person -- monk? -- decides to investigate the life of each person who died, in the hopes of determining God's plan or something like that (it's been a long time since I read it). In the end his research is discovered and as a result he's put to death for having the temerity of attempting to understand the motivations of an unknowable God, or something like that.

My point being: You never see the runaway truck that kills you.

I have that book somewhere - my mum gave it to me ages ago with a high recommendation. Haven't read it - now I'll have to ferret it out.

What percentage of them are niggers on crotch rockets driving excessively reckless?

[ - ] PotatoWhisperer2 0 points 1.3 yearsJan 18, 2023 13:15:16 ago (+0/-0)

You just need to stay out of the demographic of folks who are the primary pushers of that stat.

Young, male, 9000cc crotch-rocket, no training, no gear, and (somewhat weird) near cats.

I will happily be a cagey on public roads until public driving improves.

My sis in law works in an ICU, & she actually gets to watch people die. In their last moments, during their last breaths, most of them die a horrible death. They do have a terrified look on their faces, and follow with their eyes, some unseen ghastly figure. Most likely the demon of hell has just stepped out of hell and into the earthly realm to claim another soul for moloch. There is no shortage of hell-bound souls going to hell in the west(and each & every one of them God cries for, in sorrow ...he did sacrifice his Son to redeem us all!!!) There is also a smell.. aspecific 'death scent' in the air at this time, and then with the most terrified look and with open eyes they die, clenched fists and rock-stiff muscle trying to fight the already-conceded battle against a moloch. Their bodies now lay still as the Reaper drags their souls into the eternity of Hell, where their mouths will be dry as sandpaper, and their everlasting skin burns, for a thousand years, & the demons will come and stab you in your indestructible organs, but oh, the pain will BE there, you will feel it for a thousand years. Just as the saved ones will be given a body of glory that will last eternity, so will the ones reaped by moloch be given an eternal body, with which to experience never-ending hell.

..but as for the smell in the ICU's as death comes along for them, I personally like to think the smell comes from hell as the portal opens for the Reaper to come through and drag their soul into hell.

Sis in law knows what's happening with the terrified look in their eyes, but all other nurses pass it off as 'hysteria and delusion'

..fuck around & find out

ON YOUR DEATH BED

Does SiL see that face on the old and dying, or is it predominantly on those under a certain age range?

When it's at the end, do any of these patients receive clergy visitors for last rites or other similar events?

[ - ] dontbeaphaggot 1 point 1.3 yearsJan 18, 2023 17:55:18 ago (+1/-0)

She told me about this before the vaxx side-effects hit. In the ICU's, pre-vaxx it used to be average age ~75(,&,now average age is ~50). Most of the people there were the very elderly on their last legs before expiry. The stories she told me about was of the elderly passing away. We didn't get into details as to the people that joined the patients there.. you're probably trying to find out if how you live your life as a Christian is enough to get a passing grade. I can't tell you this, but what I CAN say is that if we buy into the popular MSM trope of 'love yourself, it means that there is no room for improvement, & then you stop humbling yourself. We need to humble ourselves for as long as we breathe on this earth.

[ - ] bobdole9 [op] 0 points 1.3 yearsJan 18, 2023 18:08:58 ago (+0/-0)

No, I'm more looking to find out if those souls were younger than the average life expectancy.

I would expect younger people would be more sinful, versus those at the end of their time that have prepared themselves for what's next. Doesn't seem to matter if they had their affairs in order or not.

Any idea of the religious makeup of those your family member saw?

Forgive the dumb questions; this is just a unique experience.

Understanding how to lift properly is why I shrug off every "need a spotter" knob for the past fifteen years. It's "miraculous" how one doesn't die when they have proper form and are going for sets of 8-12 reps.

That's before we get into hand grip and hand strength. If you need straps, you're lifting too heavy. Fat Grips are your friend.

[ - ] PotatoWhisperer2 1 point 1.3 yearsJan 18, 2023 13:33:02 ago (+1/-0)

These machines have safety features as well. Use them and, low and behold!, they keep you safe if you fuck something up. Use/buy the machines with the safety stuff, know how to properly use the machine, and don't over-do it.
That and not being retarded, learn how to use each machine before actually using/buying it.

Fat Grips are your friend.

Picked up a set for my forearm/grip exercises, thinking that maybe it'll be used once and thrown on the "pile of shit that don't work".
Blew my fucking mind. It's stupid, but simple, in that simply increasing grip size does so much more for you.

[ - ] PotatoWhisperer2 1 point 1.3 yearsJan 18, 2023 13:26:19 ago (+1/-0)

you won't be lifting past 40 like that

Lol, I can attest to that. Tried to up my bench game by doubling my lifted weights. Worked for 2 weeks, then I couldn't bench press for 6 months. Gotta remember that you ain't 20 no more lol.

It might be the idiot that gets you killed.
Like that mexicunt that tried to prank her coworker by turning on the large mixing vat she was cleaning, that then proceeded to mix her body into bone putty

I work, worked, and will work around some very dangerous things. The one thing I fear most, is the idiot standing near me.

The one thing I fear most, is the idiot standing near me.

Replace standing for driving, and that's my policy driving in any snowstorm.

Except in Minnesota. Those fucks know how to drive.

[ - ] PotatoWhisperer2 1 point 1.3 yearsJan 18, 2023 19:14:47 ago (+1/-0)

While most folk here are used to some snow driving I still remember when a blizzard hit while all the snow people/equipment was on loan to the local passes. Something like 10%-15% of the population in my area had been in an accident in the first half-day.

I was lucky in that not a single one of them hit me, though it was close a couple of times. A set of new tires on my FWD manual wagon + some shovels/planks/etc and my bike got me through that winter, though I did slip and fall a few times lol.

Managed to pull out a few White uni students as well. Kinda funny considering the wagon is smaller than most trucks that had gotten stuck.

Other than 2, 3, and 6, most of that stuff is fairly normal for me.

I would also add:

Beware the nose.

Around blacks, never relax.

Life long biker so #2 and #3 is a common occurrence for me. #6 is how I used to make my money, so while I fully understand the dangers, I know how to keep myself safe.

Of course #20, Murphy's law, is an inherent property of the universe.

Maybe someday I will fully understand electricity, but until then I treat it as some black magic.

Granted, everybody should have a "finger in the light socket" moment for a bit of exposure. Hell, most farm hot wire isn't strong enough to do actual damage, just cause a very unpleasant experience.
