the sad part is someone thinks this is possible

also, what Iran is really sending Russia is parts. Iran has been sanctioned for decades and has a large amount of domestic industry for making things like car parts. As such they are well equipped to replace various things Russia was getting from the EU in recent years, while Russia re-tools to produce most of it domestically.

Authority absolutely matters when dealing with major countries like those that sit on the UN's security counsel. The US would have to provide a justification that would be reasonable enough to prevent a collapse of these types of world bodies.

I'm all for watching the UN, IMF, World Bank, WHO, etc. collapse, but the US isn't going to let that happen so that a bunch of fags can continue their ass sex.

That isn't true. If you piss off the world community, where you sit as head of the table, you may have the ability to muster more violence than anyone at that table, but if you piss off everyone at that table with hypocrisy and duplicity, they simply get up from the table and leave you with nothing. Then, it becomes you versus the entire world, and we don't have that kind of power.
