Uh, I didnt downvote ya, but this is sure alot of “soulful flava” youre expecting us to digest tonite, ya know? I get enough enrichment from the usual sources already.
I had made a post yesterday by a band called Dead South and someone got real butthurt about it. Hence, the rhythm and blues list. If it's a good tune, I don't give a shit about color. I play guitar and I refuse to accept his opinion on the ethnicity of good music.
Dont you think that when we absorb alot of their culture it rubs off on us? They are primitive, impulsive people, closer to animals. Their music reflects that. Im not saying none of their shit has appeal. I just dont think it makes us better.
