It seems strange that I don't know the answer to this. Germany was a very modern country, but they nearly overnight adopted an ancient symbol as a representation of themselves. How and why did this come about?
The swastika used to be a very common symbol around the world. It had absolutely no negative connotations, and was basically a good luck symbol. You had sports teams in America that were known as "The Swastikas", and even roads called "Swastika Road", etc.
Now, having said that, I'll address this:
Why did National Socialist Germany plaster the swastika everywhere?
That's the power of symbols. It's akin to meme magic. You associate a general idea or feeling to a symbol and plaster it everywhere. In mystical terms it's what's known as somethings "egregore". Look up that term. And it goes both ways. The German National Socialists created a very positive egregore for their vision of Germany, the kikes have since done the opposite all these years since.
They even done it with the symbol of the swastika. Which is sad. Voat itself has a very powerful egregore, that's why the community still exists despite the taking down of the site. While this is certainly not Voat (yet...), I like it because it keeps the egregore alive online. Thus I participate here and wish more people would. But I digress...
The right answer. I'll add that Hitler and crowd were ariosophists, people should look that up too if they want to know more about where it all originated from.
How is there not one goat from old voat with resources who fires old voat back up and ends this stupid name? And brings back the immune system the way it used to work

Nice rose colored glasses you have there. Some won't appreciate this place till it's gone. Maybe I should pull the site down for a week or two, emulate that voat.co down time and uncertainty.
The "immune system" you speak of simply limited negative accounts to 10 posts a day, and nothing stopped them from making a new account.
After 2 years, zero major problems, no ads or bullshit I think this place deserves a bit more credit.
As far as the name goes, I've been thinking about changing it for a while. Suggest some cool catchy names with an available domain.

It's in the works. It's very difficult. The old code, and just as importantly the databases, are in the hands of people trying to do this. I'm told the main issue is that the code was just sitting there not being updated all this time, so it's basically not compatible with the modern internet. That explanation makes sense to me.
= of y = mx + b fame became the symbol for homosexuality overnight too. Glad I never got an = tattoo. There was a Japanese startup airline that had to repaint their airplanes when Russia started using Z in the Ukraine war. Symbols have a way of becoming something else.
People will say that it was an important ancient symbol and all that. But the fact is that it was just a symbol.
Something to unite under. A symbol that signified something new. Something good. It signified change.
A new flag. A new symbol to unite under. A symbol that people could say, "I'm that" and, "That's me".
And when an area became prosperous, the symbol went up. So that people would associate the symbol with prosperity. You\d want to be around that symbol.
Yes, the Swastika does have significance, and there are plenty of reasons why it was chosen. But they could have used hundreds of other symbols with significance and meaning. What I'm trying to say is that what they did with the Swastika could have been done with countless other symbols.
to unite whites. it's the symbol of our ancient tribes. we can't just simply create a new one with the same historical depth and importance which is why it needs to be defended at all costs.
It was the Party symbol so saying that it was adopted overnight is not really accurate.
Let's try a similarity of sorts. The Gadsden Flag is a historical icon that was popular a hundred and fifty years ago. It had long been forgotten to people outside of NH, VT or students of history.
Then comes 2008 and Barack Obama with his leftshit rhetoric threatening people, their rights and their lives. The next thing you know you start seeing Bob next door flying it below his stars and stripes. You see gear and emblems being sold everywhere.
My point is that the swastika was always there, people recognized it and then employed it when it became mainstream.
