I knew before I clicked onto the article...in the mines we called it "acid water", underground streams of acid water, even a waterfalls of red water, everywhere it's oozing out of the granite rock formations a mile down, and this was in a hard rock iron ore mine in N Ontario...AND THE FUCKING "EXPERTS" ARE JUST FIGURING THIS OUT NOW? ?
The scientist said it sounded counter-intuitive that heat was released when water cooled. He should have explained that you can't create coolness but rather heat can be extracted. But then again he was just as shocked when he discovered water was wet.
