Without a doubt.

Look at all the people who threatened to leave the US if Trump was elected, and yet they're all still here.
Those sort vastly overrate their societal value to the point they believe that we'd concede just so they won't leave, when in fact, that's exactly what we've been asking of them all along.

I imagine the constant frustration they must feel, living their lives in perpetual delusion of grandeur but reality disabusing them of that notion at every turn.

Her family was probably upper caste back in India, so there's that extra level of self-entitlement and vanity at work, too -- what hurts the little people doesn't matter if it inconveniences themselves in the slightest, and, boy, does gun control disproportionately impact poor people.
