What does this mean? Is there a special meaning to it coming out inverted?
The upright image is of a man crucified on the upside-down cross (so I'm guessing it's Peter, not Jesus), but in the inverted position he's crucified right side up (so maybe this one IS the lord JC).
The Hanged Man XII upright is one of the better cards in the deck, as it indicates that outside forces have set things in motion, and that one may merely relax and go with the flow. The fellow is hanged by his foot, and just chilling out, with a halo even, for the wisdom he has learned.
Contrarily, inverted, The Hanged Man XII indicates impatience with those who should be setting events in order, usually depicted as arrogance, but not necessarily so, if those who should be setting things in order are actually delaying. Nevertheless, it is nit a bad card, like Death XIII inverted, or The Tower XVI upright.
Friendly advice: Time is not an existent ontological entity, but an epistemological and mathematical abstract construct, useful in the comprehension of the motion and interaction of ontological entities, such as matter and energy. Readings should be related to specific circumstances, rather than taken as long term advice.
Side note: When I was arrested by Homeland Security, and institutionalized, a decade or so ago (for openly saying to a federal employee such things as are anonymously but openly discussed hereabouts in relative safety), I did a drawing with my paper Aquarian Tarot, as to the circumstances; and I received The Hanged Man XII upright. Lost my house, my cats, my sweet ass car (1976 Liberty Edition Coup). So, upright isn’t necessarily a whole lot better.
It would probably be better to find solace in the Meditations of Marcus Aurelius than in The Book of Job. Otherwise, stay strong. Better to live in the present. Spend any potential time in prison or a mental institution wisely. Might I recommend Schopenhauer’s “The World As Will And Representation” and Heidegger’s “Being And Time” as reading materials.
Tell them what they want to hear, rather than what you know to be true.

I read tarot cards for years with shockingly accurate results. The less I knew about a situation, the more accurate the cards were. But they aren’t tapping good energy. God’s energy. They tap the same energy as Ouji boards. Don’t use them, they’ll turn on you. I’ve repented and burned them. You should do the same. Occult energy is never benign.
General meaning and interpretation (Reversed) The Hanged Man reversed can indicate that you are being impulsive and making rash decisions as a way to distract yourself from some sort of inner discontentment. This Major Arcana trump card generally shows that you may be jumping from one bad situation to the next without considering where this behaviour is taking you. Ask yourself if there are feelings you trying to avoid confronting or changes that you know need to be made but are reluctant to tackle. If there are, consider what you fear will happen if you do? If you genuinely don’t know what to do in terms of your direction in life, just stop, breathe and wait for things to become clearer. However, if you know your behaviour patterns are not working for you, change them. Your attitude towards your life will determine life’s attitude towards you! Last, it indicates you will likely get run over by a truck this week, so cross at intersections and be careful!

My internet said something different
The Hanged Man reversed can also show up when someone has a victim mentality whether they are a victim or not. It can also indicate someone with a martyr personality in which they continue to make sacrifices in a relationship even when it is to their detriment. If it is coupled with The Devil or Lovers reversed, this unhealthy dynamic is especially true. This dynamic can lead towards resentment at the other people involved along with feelings of burnout - they have nothing left to give.
The Hanged Man reversed can also commonly be drawn by those who are in the position of a caregiver, medical professional, or other first responders as they always make sacrifices of their time, their safety, and their personal energy to care for those when they are needed the most. When combined with The Hierophant it can indicate a religious or spiritual advisor who actively sacrifices and gives back to their community and the downtrodden.
After posting my final post here, something was pulled in my ribcage or something, in the back; and am in excruciating pain. Apologies for any messing around that I committed. Forgot myself.

Our condolences, as appropriate.
Mostly kidding.
Gotta go.

Discontentment, apathy, disinterest, stagnation, impulsiveness, negative patterns, detachment
