This cunt was somehow able to escalate the case to the CEO and everyone came running and looking to start finger pointing even though nothing was actually wrong. This bitch just wanted an update and some fucking how didn't think to respond to the email of person she was in contact with about the case instead.
So now, everything is under the microscope, people are getting their fingerpointing ready, and we can't take the volitility; if we lose a person because they decide to quit or they get fired our whole team breaks down. Our company is growing and this would kick out the support were standing on.
Fortunately the bosses are acquainted with this woman's behavior and understood most of what was going on, so that kept the panic under control somewhat, but it was still bad.
I had the big boss come in and audit all my shit, and panic every time he saw something that wasn't point blank explaining part of the process, and I even had to track down a few checkpoint events to prove shit was done at a certain time. We don't even have time stamps on all of our documentation (because it's not necessary, even now) but there just so happen to be other markers I was able to associate with the docs.
None of this is even necessary. At all. This was all a response to a woman's emotional scare-mongering (and cucky men who believed her and hired her in the first place).
Update: omfg this bitch sounded the alarm under the suspicion their company had money stolen or charged incorrectly and it turns out she just didn't know how to adjust her settings! Some checkboxes in her settings menu for her software

AND If anyone is mistaken that tech talent is not the prime staffing element driving companies and that it is ALSO in RARE fucking supply, then let them make that mistake.

I doubt they'd be able to find someone else to do this job. They have so much software loosely stiched together to monitor their proprietary software I think they would struggle. I think they're covering up someone before me who quit, because they let something slip back when I started. Later on, everyone at the same time,"on their own," was saying that they have had the same size team for years.

Just don't let your current workplace know. Make a one-size-fits-all resume and slowly shop around for a better work environment. You'd be surprised at what you can net, and what you can turn down, when you aren't desperate for a job before the rent comes due. And it shows when they interview.
