Segregation needed to be ended, but should never have been replaced with integration, what should have happened was government simply backing off and allowing people the freedom of association to make the decisions for themselves. The blacks would have voted for separation, and that should be given to them, they wanted political representation in the government they paid taxes too, and they had thought that achieving this required the establishment of a separate country where they could rule themselves, that's something that whites would have preferred as well. Integration was neither of these solutions, it was the solution that whites didn't want, and it was the solution that blacks weren't particularly keen on either, it was the solution that jews had proposed and preferred, so that they could exploit the resentment that they could foster in blacks against whites, and the dependency of blacks on the reparations of white people.
