A bunch of jews who shut down heavy metal music in the name of decency, back when the concept of freedom was supported by the left and under attack by the right.

There's a reason why I loathe seeing the right come back into power, christian nationalism is simply a new manifestation of the conservative moral majority our people lived through in the 80s and 90s.

Two decades liberal and marxist, two decades conservative and christian, both start off liberating as a more relaxed and reasonable alternative to the other, ten they grow totalitarian, and the other party launches in to replace them as the next reasonable liberators.

We forget how bad the other side had gotten, they turn totalitarian, and then the other side once again comes in like a breath of fresh air.

We know it's the same people, the same companies, the same common ideology, that both parties are working for.

In parliamentarian countries like the UK things are worse because you have the two parties disguised as a plurality of them, and they use that to gatekeep so much harder.

That's why more people focus on US politics, because under their political system things can actually change.
