What does that even mean?

Freedom of speech is freedom of legal consequences for one's speech, it literally means that you cannot be prosecuted for what you say.

Which also means that these cops should not be bothering these guys unless they have some reasonable cause to suspect they are doing something criminal, which they do not have in this instance.

To ask whether they have weapons on them is also none of their damn business, the activists would've been in their rights not to answer that question, though I understand why they did it anyway.

But we should have guy who are armed when we go out and do this stuff, because we have been attacked repeatedly enough to justify having some dedicated security detail protecting us as we do our thing.

If freedom of speech is not freedom from consequences aside from legal ones, that implies that any of the consequences that could occur within the bounds of the law are fair.

So if people start to crowd around the people talking about what the jews are up to in order to support them, rather than to abandon or oppose them, there should be no problems since those are the consequences for calling out the jews, too.

You can't talk about the consequences of free speech as being fair regardless of that they happen to be, and then throw a fit when the consequences for speech you dislike turn out to be positive.

The left speaks in a neutral tone, they lay down principles that serve as rules, and imply that they would be happy with whatever happens on those terms.

But we know that's not the case, we know that they are only happy wit the rules they establish when it is their ideas who are the sole winners within those bounds, as soon as they start losing, they break the rules, or change them to a new game that they assume they can win on.

They will say "violence has no place in discourse, we should settle things with open discourse", until we win the debate, and they initiate violence against us.

So we go back to allowing violence, and even though they have better arms and numbers, we still beat them down wen it comes to a fight because we are the better fighters, then they shame us for using violence (in self defense) and claim that if we could win in a dialogue we wouldn't be violent (ignoring that we did, and it was what kicked off the fight to begin with).

They claim we should support the laws and the systems that exist, because they assume they have enough control in that area to guarantee a victory, then we win, and all of a sudden the system is broken and needs to be changed.

They also condemn cheating, but only when they do it, Russian interference delegitimizes the rule of a candidate they hate, but it's completely fine when it's a candidate they favor.

The left has no rules, for them rules are a weapon, the left has no principles except for those of their ideology, so they will use whatever rules that exist across their ideology and other ideologies to screw those of other ideologies when their ideas come into conflict with their own.

They play only to win, they weaponized the law against us, the police serve as their personal bodyguards, enforcers, and dedicated harassment brigades (boldly harassing us whenever we do anything, but never interfering with them), but we know that they will go outside the law in order to shut down speech they dislike:

We should be going to any event where leftism is rampant in order to protest it, which is probably every event going on, including the superbowl.

With the goal of driving people attending them away and ruining the event for those who put it on. Just as they did at our events.

And if lawful protest isn't enough, violent activity is also a precedent they had set for us. If we win it will be by doing to them what they had done to us, and by forwarding our causes to take over society in the same way that they had forwarded their own.

In fact, the actual unrecognized rule is that those who are best at violence get to call the shots regarding what's allowed or not, who is good or evil, smart or stupid, and who is right or wrong.

Those with a better ability to wield violence are even the ones who decide what the truth is, not the objective reality, obviously, but the reality of what people could say is true.
