There is only one animated Christmas special worth watching, and it's the only one that's explicit in saying that Christmas is about the birth of Jesus

Even as a child, I always disliked Christmas cartoons, except for "A Charlie Brown Christmas". This special was very personal for Charles Schulz, who was a religious man and though what had been done to it was terrible. I disliked all of these 60s and 70s Christmas specials because they had fuck-all to do with the holiday (holy day). I never understood what Santa Claus, giving presents, snow, elves, and all of that had to do with Jesus.

Ho! Another gotcha! Yes, quite a number of Christians already know that. It was incorporated into the Roman Church hundreds of years after the birth of Christ because Saturnalia was already part of the people's winter rites. The "holy day" of Christmas wasn't celebrated or even considered as notable until several hundred years after the birth of Christ.

Good point. I forgot about that one. It was all about the little drummer boy having no gift to give a king as the wise men did, so he played his drum, and the infant Jesus smiled. I think that one has a good message.

This is true as to the modern religion of Judaism. The only nuance worth adding is that some activity of its formation occurred during Christ's lifetime, such as the start of Rabbinicalism. Rabbinicalism is said to start after 70AD after the fall of the second temple, but we see the pharasees were practicing proto-rabinicalism before then. Jesus tried to put a stop to it.
